With the help of this project, the aim is to increaese awareness of the moral applications of AI. AI will be used as a teaching aid and will allow students to explore the feasibility of developing a technological project, using GenAI (ChatGPT and Copilot). The methodology will use stages: Requirements Levelling, Data Modeling and Functional Prototype Development. For each phase, a detailed question on the phase will be formulated, which will be inserted in the two mentioned applications, comparing the results obtained. On the basis of these results, the question will be redesigned for the next phase, if the answer is inadequate. The process will be repeated until the third and final phase, where it will be possible to confirm whether, by using GenAI applications, we are able to implement a functional prototype. The development phases of the project are: • Identification of requirements • Definition of the data model • Prototype development

The students were supposed to interact with Alice, the friendly companion and that’s what they did. However, if they don’t say pronounce the words correctly, Alice doesn’t understand. So, this is also interesting because the students have to practice the questions and how to pronounce them correctly so that Alice understands them. They asked and answered the questions themselves (based on information from the internet) but when they asked Alice, that was pretending to be Steve Jobs, the answers weren’t exactly the same as the ones they did. So, they concluded that Alice doesn´t have the same information as the one they looked for on the internet. For example, questions/answers about his work were quite similar, but questions/answers about his private life Alice sometimes couldn’t give the information required. The students loved Chat D-Id because it was almost like speaking with a human being, the teacher. They get more information they didn’t know but it’s also very important for the students to practice the speaking skills: they can do it in the classroom with the classmates and the teacher or they can do it alone at home. They have to speak and, at the same time, understand English.  I strongly recommend Chat D-Id mainly for the students who have difficulty speaking and understanding the English language.
